Colors of the iconic Paralympic Movement symbol, "Agitos" was displayed on the facade of the world's tallest building

A special event was organized to mark the '1,000 Days to Go' countdown to the Opening Ceremonies of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. The celebrations took place in the evening on November 29th in the world's tallest building, Tokyo Sky Tree, which was lit up in three colors forming the Paralympic Symbol "Agitos" and was visible all throughout the city of Tokyo.

In March 2018, Organizing Committee published its "Accessibility Guidelines," which provides practical tips to ensure all venues and services provided for the Olympic and Paralympic Games are accessible and inclusive for all. Japanese Government approved an 'Action Plan" in which the government is responsible for "redoubling their efforts to promote universal design across Japan, with the aim of creating an inclusive society that is comfortable and accessible to everyone.
