It is with great pride that I'm writing this blog soon after I learned about the Turkish Paralympic Men's W1 team are announced world champions!

's-Hertogenbosch town of the Netherlands hosted the largest para-archery world championship in history this week.

In W1 Men's category, Turkey defended their title from last year in Beijing Championships and won in the category second year in a row. The W1 Men's team consists of Yigit Caner Aydin, Bahattin Hekimoglu and Naci Yenier. They beat China by 1 point on Saturday, 213- 212.

Incredibly proud and excited for the Para-Archery team and their accomplishments during the world championships! This championship will surely increase the spots we get for Tokyo 2020, yesterday we had 7 spots. I will update once I have the right data.
